Social Responsibility
When it comes to fashion, it is not always frivolous, but often fashion for a cause. With that we established Europa Art Foundation. EUROPA ART GROUP has partnered with Barefoot No More and the Nelson Mandela Foundation with a goal to raise 10 000 pairs of school shoes for underprivileged children that walk to school barefoot every day. To date, EUROPA ART GROUP has raised 5250 pairs of school shoes with the help of their customers, corporate companies as well as friends and family of the brand who are passionate about making a real difference to the children’s lives in South Africa.
On Nelson Mandela Day, the 18th of July, we were very proud to have provided Mikateka Primary School in Ivory Park Midrand with 1026 pairs of school shoes, ensuring that each and every child in the school goes home with dignity on their feet. On the 18th of October, Europa Art was joined by dignitaries of the City of Ekhuruleni, the CEO of Nelson Mandela Foundation, Mr Sello Hatang and his team to an outreach at Michael Mkhwanazi Primary School in Tskane to do another hand over of 1263 pairs of school shoes to the entire school.
